My teaching is inspired by my personal practice of Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Jivamukti yoga. I propose to you a creative mix of static positions and sequences of dynamic movements guided by the breath which brings you muscular strength, mobility and flexibility. I’m paying a particular attention on a sure alignment as well as on the adaptation of the postures according to your possibilities and your feelings.
My leitmotiv is to helps you find and develop your own capacities, in order for you to be stronger and more serene.

A bit about myself
My name is Julie MATHYS. After more than 20 years practicing ballet, I felt that I had to try something else but always linked with movement and body expression. That is when I discovered Vinyasa yoga with my first teacher Federica GIOVANNINI. I felt in love with the way we could connect the breath to the movement, the freedom of being creative and being oneself. With her I learned the importance of the alignment regarding the morphology of each person, of not comparing yourself with others and taking your time. As I learned to be more flexible, particularly metaphorically speaking, I begun to deal better with the fluctuations of the daily life.
After more than ten years of personal practice I felt the urge to share the benefits of yoga. I followed a Hatha yoga teacher training and I completed it with a prenatal and postnatal (pelvic floor strengthening) teacher education at Swiss Pilates & Yoga.
